In 2017, Struktur Event held it's largest 3-day creative conference to date. The event was located at the Left Bank Annex in Portland, Oregon, and hosted an impressive array of speakers across the industries in outdoor and performance design, research, sustainability, business, technology, team building and more. This is the first time the audio-only recordings of the speaker sessions have been released.
This panel discussion is led by Karuna Scheinfeld, then VP of Design at Woolrich, and Amanda Goad, founder of BoldBrew. Panelists include Jainee Dial of Wylder Goods, Gale Straub of SheExplores, Michelle M Rose of Struktur Society, Liana Delucca Johnson of DeluccaJ Design, and Jeanine Pesce of RANGE.
Karuna Scheinfeld received a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design, graduating with honors as well as both Gold and Silver thimble awards. She found her ideal combination of classic American design with quality product at Woolrich, John Rick & Bros. in Bologna, Italy in 2008 where she was hired to head the mens collection and eventually become global concept director. She returned to New York in 2012 to join the American side of Woolrich, Inc where she has been VP of Design since. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two wild children. (2017)
Amanda Goad is a co-founder at BoldBrew, a public relations and content creative shop based Colorado's San Juans, dedicated to innovative partnerships and real storytelling. When not geeking out over the evolution of communications, Amanda can usually be found exploring the Four Corners region of the Rockies, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, off-roading... all things outside.
