Struktur Event 2017, Session 3: Jeff Nash and Tabea Soriano, Futuremade

Integrated Sustainability

In 2017, Struktur Event held its largest three-day creative conference to date. The event was located at the Left Bank Annex in Portland, Oregon, and hosted an impressive array of speakers across the industries in outdoor and performance design, research, sustainability, business, technology, team building and more. This is the first time the audio-only recordings of the speaker sessions have been released. Session three is with Jeff Nash and Tabea Soriano of Futuremade.

As an outdoor industry executive Jeff Nash believes in using responsible business practices as a primary lens for innovation and growth. Throughout the majority of his career he has thrived in the unique intersection of product creation and supply chain management. Jeff is a technical trailblazer continually in search of new opportunities to embed quality and sustainability into all professional activities. Jeff built his expertise during periods of rapid growth and change at The North Face and Black Diamond Equipment.

Tabea Soriano is a kaleidoscopic product person. She has an extensive background in traditional fashion design management, product development and supply chain systems, coupled with an innate desire to continuously improve upon the status quo. Her approach to teasing out the most desirable product couples thoughtful design with sustainability and business innovation considerations. And she knows how to bridge the gap on storytelling and brand communications.
